25 Hottest Towns in Connecticut in 2024

The Lamacchia Realty 25 Hottest Connecticut Towns report for 2024 is in! Out of every town in Connecticut, we compare the number of sales in 2023 compared to 2024, and the 25 towns with the highest growth make the list!  To be considered, the town needs to have a minimum of 200 sales in 2023. 

Towns in the top 10 are generally located in the southwestern and central regions of Connecticut. Those moving further from the city in high volume usually are looking to get more for their dollar with more space and a more suburban lifestyle. Towns in the top 25 are more widely spread out throughout the state.

#1 – Brookfield, CT

Brookfield topped the list with the number of homes sold increasing by 13.6% compared to 2023. Median price increased 14.1% to $ 523,725.

Greenwich came in at #2, with the number of homes sold up 13.2% compared to 2023. Median price increased by 15.1% now at $ 1,900,000 compared to $1,612,500 in 2023.

Cromwell ranked #3 in the list with a 13.1% increase in the number of homes sold compared to 2023. Median price increased by 10.5% to $ 310,000.

Wilton came in at #4 on the list, the area saw a 12.3% increase in home sales compared to 2023. Median prices for 2024 came in at $ 1,107,650 showing a 15.1% increase from the previous year.
